Phentermine and Phendimetrazine are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as appetite suppressants. These medications are approved for weight loss in conjunction with exercise, calorie intake, and behavioral modification. Appetite suppressants decrease your appetite so you will eat smaller portions. But it is your responsibility to make better choices. Our facility will give you the training and dietary information needed to help meet your goal.
HISTORY
PHENTERMINE
Phentermine first received approval from the FDA in 1959 as an appetite suppressant for the short term management of obesity. Phentermine resin became available in the United States in 1959 and Phentermine Hydrochloride in the early 1970’s. This drug is medically used as an appetite suppressant.
MEDICATION PRESCRIBED:
PHENTERMINE
37.5 mg, 30mg, and 15mg.
PHENDIMETRAZINE
35mg.
HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE
25mg water pill (Blood Test Required)
